JOIN THE COP26 WUC CLIMATE ACTION Event

In the critical days of COP26, the WUC will hold a special learning event to discuss climate solutions presented in Urban Thinkers Campuses (UTCs) since February 2021.
Focused on urbanization and climate action in 2021, UTCs have gathered more than 6,000 participants aware of the urgency of climate action and the need to promote the key role of cities in accelerating the implementation of effective solutions.
During the virtual learning event to be held on 10 November, 24 experts will exchange on climate action in cities through 4 moderated panel discussion:
- LOCALIZING CLIMATE ACTION
- PLANNING AND DESIGN FOR CLIMATE RESILIENCE:
A. Public space, heritage and climate resilience
B. Addressing the needs of growing and warming cities - GUIDING CLIMATE ACTION
- ADDRESSING VULNERABILITY
Those topics are critical to accelerate progress in climate mitigation, adaptation and resilience in cities and communities.
