Après une conférence inaugurale à Damas en avril 2010 et une deuxième rencontre à Marseille en décembre 2010, l’AFD poursuit le cycle de rencontres du programme « Transports Urbains Durables » du Centre de Marseille pour l’Intégration en Méditerranée (CMI) : un atelier sera consacré, à Barcelone (Palau de Pedralbes – Siège de l’Union pour la Méditerranée) du 17 au 20 octobre 2011, sur « Quels outils pour accompagner les évolutions de la mobilité urbaine durable en Méditerranée ?».
Piloté et financé par l’Agence Française de Développement (AFD), qui en a confié la maîtrise d’œuvre à CODATU, en partenariat avec l’Union pour la Méditerranée (UpM), Medcités, la Mairie et l’Aire Métropolitaine de Barcelone, le Ministère français de l’Ecologie (MEDDTL), le CERTU, les CETE Méditerranée et du Sud-Ouest et le Plan Bleu, cet atelier bénéficie aussi du soutien de la Ville de Marseille, de la BEI et de la Banque Mondiale. Il réunira élus, décideurs et experts du pourtour méditerranéen.
On abordera les thèmes de gouvernance, de planification ou encore de financement des transports urbains en Méditerranée.

“What tools to support changes of the sustainable urban mobility in the Mediterranean?”

Following the first event in Damascus in April 2010 and a second event in Marseilles in December 2010, AFD continues its cycle of meetings for the Sustainable Urban Transport program of the Marseille Center for Mediterranean Integration (CMI): a thematic workshop will be organized on “What tools to support changes of the sustainable urban mobility in the Mediterranean?” in Barcelona (Palau de Pedralbes – Headquarters of the Union for the Mediterranean), from the 17th to the 20th of October, 2011.
Led and financed by AFD which delegates the organization to CODATU with the partnership of The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), MedCities, the City and the Metropolitan Entity of Barcelona, the French Ministry of Ecology and Transport, CERTU, CETE Méditerranée and Sud-Ouest and Blue Plan, this workshop also benefits from the support of EIB, the City of Marseille and the World Bank. It will gather Mediterranean decision makers and experts.
Among subjects presented, we can list: the governance of urban transport, the planning tools, or the financing aspect in urban transport in the Mediterranean.
